Due to the damage brought by typhoon Ondoy, Young Leaders Alliance of Rizal, both Morong and Angono Chapter collaborated. Solicitation blues, swimming in flood, box office hit for the donations, and a star circle quest for clothes--- knowing that we are also victims yet we have to share clothes for those who are almost underessed because of the devastation of Ondoy.
Bangon, Rizal Project toured in Barangay Hall of Kalayaan Angono last October 1, then,we dropped by at Barangay Hall of Tandang Kutyo Tanay last October 2, and October 4 in Lunsad Elementary School, Pilapila Covered Court, Pilapila Elementary School which became an evacuation center.
I am very proud to say that:
this activity truly pulled out the true characteristics of Filipinos not just within our organization, but our friends, families, alumni of the unversity and the kind- hearted individuals who sponsored our activity- ‘bayanihan trait’, love, kindness, helpfulness, generosity and cooperation were seen and felt.
